  • The Hasselblad Imacon 949 offers FlexTight technology which features flexible magnetic holders to allow your film (or other media) to be drawn into the scanner on a curve. This enables the Imacon to emulate the optics of a drum scanner providing superb image and color quality.

    The Imacon 949 can produce a 100MB file from a 6x6 negative in just 30 seconds. The scanner also produces Hasselblad 3F RAW files that can be processed and color corrected using the free FlexColor application for Mac and PC, Photoshop, or LightRoom.

    Our Imacon work station includes a calibrated 27” Benq Adobe RGB QHD monitors, Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, Lightroom, Photoshop. as well as holders for 35, 120, and 4x5.

    *Please make sure to bring an external USB 2.0 or 3.0 drive compatible with MacOs. No USB-C or Lightning ports supported. You must register a free Hasselblad account if you would like to download FlexColor at home. FlexColor is only 32 bit compatible.

  • The Noritsu LS-1100 is a commercial grade high speed scanner for 35mm film.

    It can scan an entire roll at a maximum resolution of 6048 x 4011 generating a ~80MB Tiff file in 8Bit or ~170MB Tiff in 16Bit. It can scan all 36 frames in under 10 minutes and can scan strips as small as 2 frames.

    This is a great scanner for batch scanning or archiving your catalog. This scanner is much faster and has better dynamic range when compared to the Kodak Pakon series scanners or flatbeds.

  • At Contact Photo, we strive to provide a flexible and accommodating experience for our clients. To maintain fair scheduling for all, please take note of our cancellation policy regarding Imacon 949 and Epson V600 scanner rentals:

    Rescheduling:

    Clients can reschedule their reservation without any additional charges if the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled reservation time.

    Rescheduling is subject to equipment availability.

    Cancellations:

    No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled reservation time.

    Clients are encouraged to consider rescheduling instead of canceling within this 48-hour window.

    Day of Reservation:

    No cancellations or changes are permitted on the day of the reservation.

    Clients who do not arrive for their reservation will be charged the full rental fee.

    No refunds.
